Digital Twin Production
Digital 3D twins for infrastructure, industry and research – built from modern capture and visualization workflows for planning, documentation and decision-making.

HardByte Robotics Platform
Technology modules for real-world use.
Autonomous drones, indoor navigation, digital twins & applied robotics.
Every building block in this ecosystem is developed and validated through our own flagship application: an autonomous indoor mapping drone platform designed to navigate, avoid obstacles and support spatial capture without pre-installed infrastructure.
Each product page provides specifications, firmware interfaces and integration examples for makers, developers and research teams.

HardByte Applied Robotics is our project and service area for real-world robotics applications in industry, infrastructure and research.
We create digital twins of buildings, facilities and technical infrastructure and combine captured reality with planning and design data. Existing conditions, future developments and technical systems are brought together within a single spatial model to support decision-making throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Using a combination of advanced algorithms, domain expertise and artificial intelligence, we generate digital visualizations, semantic digital twins and BIM-ready models from scan data and planning information.

Digital 3D twins for infrastructure, industry and research – built from modern capture and visualization workflows for planning, documentation and decision-making.

Robotics-assisted scan workflows for buildings, facilities and complex interiors. Designed for technical documentation, inspection and as-built surveys.

Connecting spatial data and digital twins to operational systems, databases and customer-specific workflows.

Custom robotics projects for research, industry and public authorities – from autonomous indoor and outdoor systems to sensor-based robotics prototypes.
Unlike traditional workflows, HardByte maintains a continuous digital information chain from capture to visualization, digital twins and BIM models.

Interactive Spatial Visualizations
We transform scan data into intuitive and interactive spatial visualizations for planning, communication and decision-making.
Depending on project requirements, we combine laser scans, videogrammetric point clouds, cadastral data and aerial imagery provided by the customer. The resulting models focus on visual accessibility and efficient communication rather than engineering precision.

Semantic Digital Twins
We create semantic digital twins that connect physical environments with operational data and business processes.
Buildings, facilities and technical assets are structured using our domain-specific classification system and can be linked to ERP systems, SAP environments, databases and other data-driven applications.

BIM-Ready IFC Models
We generate volumetric IFC models from scan data for use in BIM workflows, engineering processes and construction projects.
These models provide a structured digital representation of existing facilities and infrastructure, supporting planning, coordination and lifecycle management.
All deliverables are based on a shared domain classification system inspired by IFC principles.
This allows scan data, planning models, semantic digital twins and enterprise integrations to remain connected throughout the entire lifecycle without media discontinuities or redundant data conversion.
Because our applied projects are built on the same modular ecosystem as our core technology, they do not start from isolated one-off solutions.
Scan workflows, digital twins, BIM models, integrations and pilot systems can all build on components that are developed to work together.
This approach keeps the technology adaptable across different scenarios while preserving technical control – from indoor capture and inspection to visualization, semantic digital twins, BIM workflows, research prototypes and future autonomous applications.
Get in touchOur Vision
Indoor environments are our proving ground – not the limit of the HardByte Ecosystem. We develop autonomous systems where conditions are demanding: external positioning is unavailable, spaces are complex and hardware, sensing, navigation and software have to work together reliably.
Our current flagship application is an autonomous indoor drone platform for complex industrial and technical environments. We develop and validate the system step by step, module by module – each part designed to stand on its own and to work as part of the whole.
We build in modules because autonomy is too complex to be solved as one closed block. Navigation, sensing, flight control, electronics and software are developed as connected parts of one architecture – clear enough to test individually, strong enough to work together.
Our flagship autonomous indoor drone platform is currently in active development. We are building, testing and validating the underlying modules and system behavior before scaling them into broader product and service applications.
We are looking for people who want to build real systems, not just concepts.
At HardByte, you work close to the technology: testing hardware, shaping software and improving autonomous behavior in a team that values responsibility, precision and thoughtful decisions.

HardByte develops modular technology for autonomous systems, combining electronics, sensing, navigation, software and robotics. Our work focuses on building and validating components and systems for research, development and future real-world applications.
The HardByte Ecosystem is our modular technology platform. It brings together hardware and software building blocks that are designed to work individually or as part of larger autonomous systems.
No. Indoor environments are an important development and testing environment for us because they present demanding conditions for autonomous systems. The underlying technologies are developed with broader robotics and autonomy applications in mind.
Not yet. HardByte is currently developing, testing and validating its technology and prototypes. Product availability will be introduced gradually as individual components and systems reach the required level of maturity.
Yes. Through HardByte Applied Robotics, we work on selected projects involving robotics, spatial capture, digital twins, system integration and prototype development. We are also open to research collaborations and technical partnerships.
Our technology is being developed with developers, research teams, universities and companies working in robotics, autonomous systems and related technical fields in mind.
